To make the most reliable live bait king rigs on the market today we use #5 coffee colored wire, small but strong swivels and 4x strong hooks. They are available in many different styles. We offer them with any of our king skirts or naked. We also offer a “double pogy” rig. This allows you to use two live baits on one line and makes a deadly prop wash bait due to the extra action. Our king rigs are available in single packs and in tournament packs of 5 (skirted) or 10 (naked) rigs. -

Our dead bait rigs are perfect for pulling cigar minnows, small ballyhoo and other trolling baits. The “boxing glove” style jig head is attached to a #5 dark brown wire leader with a 4X strong #4 treble hook. They are available with a variety of our Feather Weight, Hot Shot, and Private Stock skirts as well as naked (no skirt). Freestyle vertical Jigging or as some call it, Yo-Yo jigging, has become extremely popular in the past few years. Blue Water Candy Lures developed the Roscoe just for bottom fishing with freestyle jigging gear. It resembles a squid and is designed to be used with assist style hooks and rings. The main body is painted in light emitting pearl GLOW with several accent colors available to choose from. There is a small fin on the backside to help the jig cut through the water quickly. While designed for bottom fishing, during product testing we noticed that it worked equally well in the middle of the water column too! Great for Grouper and other bottom dwellers as well as AmberJacks, Tuna, Dolphin and other fish that feed on squid. It comes in three sizes, 4, 7 and 11 ounces. We also make an optional custom hook set for Roscoe. It uses a 500# kevlar leader and premium hook and includes the split and solid rings.
