Medium strength 6 arm stainless steel bar combines with light-weight skirts makes this dredge easy to handle for outboard vessels and others, where retrieving by hand or downrigger is preferred. Dredge weights are recommended; storage bag included. Creates a pulsing affect with the motion of the ocean. As seas rock the boat this bar will flex and relax to simulate a bait ball spreading and tightening. Each drop ends in a ballyhoo loop so if desired natural bait can be added. The Squidnation Slammer is another product designed stemming from a bunch of customer request. The idea is simple really. The Squidnation Slammer Chugger has a head diameter of 11cm. This size is important for a couple of reasons. First it is big enough to cup the water when being trolled and still put off a "chugger trail effect when trolled in front of the small or medium ballyhoo bait. The Squidnation Slammer is also large enough to still track true so a bait will not jump around in rougher seas. Most importantly though, the Squidnation Slammer head diameter is smaller then the gap of a standard 7/0, 8/0 and 9/0 circle hook. Therefore the Squidnation Slammer will not impede the hookup process during a bite. The Squidnation Slammer Chugger is available in 8 colors and sold in a 10 pack.
